for a Senior academic research and teaching position in The Department of Educational Policy and Administration

The Department of Educational Policy and Administration at Tel Aviv University seeks applicants for an open-rank tenure-track faculty position in the area of innovative and alternative education, effective from October 1st 2019. Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Pedagogy of innovative and alternative education.
Policy, history and philosophy of innovative/ alternative education.
Educational administration of innovative and alternative education.

Candidates are required to hold a doctoral degree, post-doctorate, clear independent research background, and commitment to research and teaching. Preference is given to applicants with expertise in multiple disciplines. Responsibilities include maintaining an active and successful program of research (including research grant procurement), teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (ability to teach in Hebrew is required), supervising graduate students, and contributing to cross-disciplinary research and dialogue in our department and in the School of Education.

Salary and conditions will conform to Israeli University regulations. Appointment procedures will be carried out according to the rules and regulations of Tel-Aviv University and are subject to the approval of University authorities.
