Position in the School of Public Health and the Porter School

Call for a Joint Tenure-Track Faculty Position in the School of Public Health (Sackler Faculty of Medicine) and the Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences (Sackler Faculty of Exact Sciences) at Tel Aviv University
 
The School of Public Health and the Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Tel Aviv University invite applicants for a joint tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Positions are available from the beginning of October 2019.  We are looking for excellent faculty members in all areas of Environmental Public Health, and who internalize the concept of interdisciplinary and environmental research. Our search is open to all fields in environmental epidemiology, including the following specific subjects:

Environmental modeling and health risk analysis
Global Environmental Health
Health impact assessment of Air Pollution
Climate Change
Extreme Weather
Hazardous Material/Waste

Water Pollution
Genetic Modification
Vector-borne diseases
Toxicology
Sustainable Development
Electric and Magnetic Fields
Pharmacology

Individuals possessing a Ph.D., with two or more years of postdoctoral experience and a strong publication record, are encouraged to apply. Applicants should demonstrate excellence in research and a strong potential for developing an independent, interdisciplinary research program, and for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative external funding. A successful applicant will be expected to share our commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.
