Senior Faculty Position at the Department of Physical Therapy, Tel Aviv University

The Department of Physical Therapy, School of Health Professions at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, seeks an outstanding candidate to fill a teaching faculty full-time position (100%) at the level of Teacher or Senior Teacher.

Job description

Successful candidates are expected to carry out high-level teaching in the department, independent work in cooperation with colleagues in creating and implementing new teaching curriculums, building training programs for new teaching staff, and following up on the development of the required skills.

Job requirements

The candidate must hold a Ph.D. and a P.T. degree.

The applicant must have previous academic teaching experience, preferably in the field of neurological rehabilitation relevant for physical therapy, communication skills and PT professionalism.

The candidate must have an excellent record in teaching skills.

The position is available beginning October 1, 2024.

A teaching summary (not exceeding three pages, including references).

Teaching statement based on the spectrum of courses currently taught at the Department of Physical Therapy.

Previous teaching evaluations (if any).

Three letters of reference (preference from Ph.D. advisor/s) should be sent directly by the referees addressed to: Chair, Search Committee of the Department of Physical Therapy, Tel Aviv University, Israel.
