תיאור התפקיד: 

The Department of Communication Disorders at Tel Aviv University seeks outstanding candidates to fill a full time senior tenure-track faculty position. Once accepted, the successful candidate is expected to establish a research laboratory in the relevant fields, initiate and lead innovative research projects, submit grant proposals, supervise graduate students combined with teaching and department activities.

Nomination will be according to Tel Aviv University policy and procedure, pending the discretion and approval by the relevant academic authorities. The academic rank will be determined according to the candidate's qualifications and achievements. The position is available beginning October 2021.

 

דרישות התפקיד

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in the field of speech and language sciences and /or pathology, and have completed a post-doctoral fellowship in relevant areas. Priority will be given to Communication Disorders clinicians holding a license in the profession from the Israeli Ministry of Health. Additional requirements include:

Publications in research related to speech and language sciences with emphasis on speech and language pathology.
Proven ability to conduct independent research and publications in peer-reviewed leading journals published after the completion of their PhD.
Academic teaching experience.
Experience in supervising graduate students in research projects with priority for experience in supervising Ph.D. students.

•           A curriculum vitae with a list of publications, according to the university format*

•           A brief summary of their research experience including: past projects, current studies (including unpublished research) and proposed future research plans

•           A short description of possible topics that the candidate may teach at the Department of Communication Disorders

•           Three letters of reference** which should be sent directly by referees to: relis@tauex.tau.ac.il
