ד"ר שרון וייסר

ד"ר שרון וייסר היא מרצה בחוג לפילוסופיה, המתמחה בפילוסופיה עתיקה. תחומי מחקר העיקריים שלה הם הפילוסופיה הסטואית, תורת הרגשות העתיקה, פילון האלכסנדרוני ופולמוסים בפילוסופיה עתיקה.

שרון וייסר השלימה את לימודי הדוקטורט שלה באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ובEcole Pratique des Hautes Etudes  (EPHE) בפריס. עבודת הדוקטורט שלה, שהתמקדה במחלוקת על הרגשות בין האסכולה הסטואית ולמסורת הפריפטטית זכתה בפרס  שלומיוק לעבודת דוקטורט מצטיינת במדעי הרוח. בשנת 2010-2011, היא הייתה Visiting Student Research Collaborator בחוג לפילוסופיה באוניברסיטת פרינסטון ובשנת 2012-2014, היא הייתה עמיתת פולנסקי באקדמיית פולונסקי במכון ון ליר בירושלים. ד"ר וייסר חברה בצוות ה International Philo Bibliography Project.
