Education

  • Phd, School of Computer Science and Engineering , Hebrew University of Jerusalem,

Supervision of Prof. Danny Dolev and Prof. Boris Rubinsky (2007-2011)

Exploitation of properties of electromagnetic radiation to extract biomedical parameters and to assess medical conditions. This work mainly focuses on exploitation of three main properties of electromagnetic radiation: electromagnetic wave propagation delay (ToA), attenuation (RSSI) and dispersion (Complex impedance).

  • : Exploitation of Electromagnetic Radiation properties for Medical Diagnostic”

Supervision of Dr. Avraham Freedman.

Explored methods to exploit Channel Side Information (CSI) in Beam Forming (BF) and in Orthogonal Space Time Block Codes (OSTBC) transmissions. A simple way of approximating the optimal antenna weights (spatial filter coefficients) was suggested as a function of channel parameters.

  • : Combining Orthogonal Space Time Codes with Adaptive Beamforming”
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering, Technion, Israel Institute of Technology

Areas of specialization: DSP, Communications, Image Processing and Computer Hardware.

Area of Academic Research

Bio-medical engineering, Machine learning and signal processing, Activity recognition, sensor (like inertial sensors) data analysis for medical diagnostics (like Parkinson disease); Computational Neuroscience;  Medical and biological signal modeling and processing; Bio-Inspired Systems’ design;
