Ben Zion Eliash is Chairman of the Board of the Israel Youth and Law Program, Member of the Israeli Board of the Advanced Legal Education Executive Committee, and a former Member of the Bnei Brak City Council. At TAU, he serves as an Executive Board Member of the Keir Foundation and instructs courses in Jewish law and bioethics. Having earned an LL.M. and Dr. Jur. from Hebrew University, he has been a visiting professor at Touro College School of Law, New York University School of Law, University of San Paulo and Temple Law School. His most recent publications include "Body and Soul and Ownership Rights: The Jewish Law Perspective," TAU Studies in Law; and "To Leave or Not to Leave: The Good Samaritan in Jewish Law," Saint Louis University Law Journal.
