Position description:
The School of Public Health seeks outstanding candidates to fill a full time senior tenure-track faculty position. The required specialization is health systems management and/or health economics. Particularly, the following areas will be evaluated: health economics, quality and risk management, health insurance, health policy and health services management.
The successful candidate will be required to initiate and lead innovative research projects, collaborate with colleagues, supervise graduate students and take part in teaching at the School of Public Health and the Faculty of Medicine, as well as other department activities.
Nominations will be according to Tel Aviv University policy and procedure, pending the discretion and approval by the relevant academic authorities. The academic rank will be determined according to the candidate's qualifications and achievements.
Position requirements:
Candidates must hold a PhD degree in health systems management, public health (or related fields of study), economy or engineering with post-doctoral fellowship in relevant areas of the position.
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research through publications in peer-reviewed leading journals.
Excellence in research.
Strong teaching skills.
