מידע כללי

אני סוציולוגית אורבנית שחוקרת את היחסים בין ערים, רעיונות וממשל. מחקריי עוסקים באופן שבו מדיניות עירונית, תפיסות תכנון ומודלים תרבותיים נעים בין מקומות, באופן שבו ערים לומדות זו מזו, ובאופן שבו תנועתם של רעיונות יוצרת מרחבים חוצי־גבולות של ידע ומומחיות עירוניים. בשנים האחרונות אני עוסקת גם במדיניות תרבות עירונית, בשאלות של ציבוריות, ובאופן שבו ערים מתמודדות עם משברים כגון שינויי אקלים ומלחמה. עבודתי משלבת שיטות מחקר איכותניות, כמותיות וחישוביות, ונשענת על תובנות מתחומי הסוציולוגיה, המדיניות הציבורית, הלימודים העירוניים והגאוגרפיה האנושית.

בשנת הלימודים הנוכחית אני מלמדת קורסים בסוציולוגיה אורבנית (תואר ראשון), סמינר על משברים עירוניים (תואר ראשון ושני), יסודות המחקר החברתי (תואר ראשון), ושיטות מחקר בתוכניות התואר השני בהיבטים חברתיים ומדיניות של שינויי אקלים ובפיתוח בר־קיימא. אני שמחה לשוחח ולחשוב יחד על מחקר, מדיניות עירונית ואקטיביזם עירוני.
