Biography
Dr. Amir Nutman is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, School of Public Health, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University. He also serves as the Deputy Director at E. Wolfson Medical Center. Graduating with honors from medical school in 2002, Dr. Nutman continued his education with an MPH degree in 2015 and an MBA in 2017, both from Tel Aviv University. Dr. Nutman specialized in Internal medicine and Infectious diseases, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare challenges, particularly in infectious diseases management and prevention.
Dr. Nutman's research primarily focuses on antibiotic resistance, with a specific emphasis on Gram-negative infections such as Acinetobacter baumannii. His work advances treatment strategies and infection prevention protocols, significantly improving healthcare outcomes. In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Nutman is dedicated to mentoring students, guiding them through their academic pursuits and preparing them for impactful roles in healthcare.
