גל רוזיליו

Gal Rosilio is a doctoral student at the Zvi Meitar Center for Advanced Legal Studies at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University. His dissertation, supervised by Dr. Natalie Davidson, is titled: "Judicial Review of the Legislative Process in Israel: The Consciousness and Use of the Knesset’s Legislative Actors in Light of HCJ’s Rulings in the Poultry Farmers Association and Quintinsky Cases".
Gal holds an LL.B. (cum laude) and a B.A. in Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy, as well as an LL.M. (research track, summa cum laude), all from Reichman University. During his undergraduate and graduate studies, he served as a research and teaching assistant in various courses. While pursuing his LL.B., Gal received the Outstanding Seminar Paper Award (first place) from the Harry Radzyner School of Law for his paper, "The 'Not In My Backyard' (NIMBY) Phenomenon in the Context of Property Law Through Section 63a of the Planning and Building Law, 1965".
Gal’s master’s thesis also focused on legislative processes and was titled: "Implementation of an a Priori System Drawing upon the Principles of the French Model to Oversee the Legislative Process in the Israeli Parliament", supervised by Prof. Adam Shinar.
In addition to his doctoral studies, Gal lectured in the course "Analysis of the Legal Text" at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University. He is also a co-editor of the Israeli blog of the International Society of Public Law (I•CON-S-IL Blog).
