ד"ר דפנה גלבגיסר

Dafna Gelbgiser is a Lecturer (tenure-track) at the Department of Labor Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Her research examines the sources and patterns of inequality in education and labor market outcomes by race, immigrant status, gender, and social class background. Her recent work explores how variations in organizational forms—like the rise of for-profit colleges and the diffusion of green fields of study in higher education—impact patterns of inequality in educational and labor market outcomes. Prior to joining Tel Aviv University, Dr. Gelbgiser was a Research Scientist at Facebook and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for the Study of Inequality at Cornell University.
