The Opera studio enables the young singers to accumulate a varied operatic repertoire, so that by the time they complete their studies at the School, they will have experienced performing in a range of various operatic roles.

Among the operas performed over the years are:

" Le Nozze di Figaro", "Idomeneo", "Don Giovanni", "Die Zauberflöte", "Cosi fan tutte" by Mozart, "Giulio Cesare" by Handel, "Orfeo" by Glück, "Carmen" by Bizet," Saul and David" by Nielsen, "The Medium" by Menotti," Hänsel und Gretel" by Humperdinck, and "Ariadne auf Naxos" and "Der Rosenkavalier" by R. Strauss.

The Opera Studio is directed by Prof. Tamar Rachum, the head of the Vocal department of the School of Music.
