APPLICATION PROCEDURE TO UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

1. Evaluation of previous studies - admission to Tel Aviv university requires individual evaluation of the applicant's previous studies (high school for undergraduates; Bachelor's degree or equivalent for graduates).

2. Submission of application form to be downloaded from:

BMSM application form

TLV University Application form

3. Completion of the theory exams (except for Musicology candidates) - required only from students who are interested in studying towards a full degree.

4. Audition or personal interview - live audition is the most effective way to showcase the candidate's abilities and qualification. It is therefore highly recommended that every effort is made to arrive in Tel Aviv and audition live.

Candidates who are interested in informal evaluation on their acceptance potential may send a DVD recording of their playing. In rare cases, applicants who live far away may be accepted to the school on the basis of such recordings although they will have to undertake a supplement audition upon arrival in Tel Aviv.

There might also be a possibility, in some cases to arrange for a live audition on location closer to the applicant's whereabouts. either by a member of the school's faculty or the Israel Philharmonic orchestra who might be on tour.

5. Keyboard proficiency examination
