| This chest CT scan at "lung window" density reveals the presence of a small rounded mass in the right lung of this rather large individual. The differential diagnosis could include a granuloma, peripheral carcinoma, solitary metastasis, or hamartoma. This mass lesion proved to be a hamartoma, a good diagnosis to have--but not a common one. |
