Or at least not too often.


There have been a couple of times when upon reaching what seems to be a satisfying halfway point in the preparation of a column I'll realize that I've not only written about that topic before, but that what I'm writing about it is distressingly similar to what I'd previously written. At least once when that happened I tanked that entire column. When I repeat myself I prefer to do so for a defensible reason rather than the indefensible one of having run out of things to write about.
