Today it's simply ... leave them on the hard drive.
Today's hard drive is yesterday's envelope - for me at least. Actually, I group
the photos on my hard drive into folders - almost always organized by date - but
other than that, even very unsuccessful photos that I have no reason to keep rarely
get fully disposed of. What's more, in addition to my hard drive, I also usually
burn them to CD, and because the memory cards of today are able to hold so many
photos, I rarely remove them from there as well.
Of the approximately twenty responses to the
previously mentioned thread, most admitted that they save more than they'd
like. One person wrote:
