Viewing photographs isn't the same as preparing them for viewing. Although the
family bonding that ensues from sitting together on the sofa certainly isn't simply
a spectator sport, it's the preparing of those photos which is probably what Tzippi
finds most meaningful. The decision of which photos to
include, and which to leave out often rests
on whether we look "good" in those photos, but it's also a function
of who else is in the photo, how similar it is to previous photos that show, in
that way, how we've grown, and more.
