| Research Interests: Uri studied geology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and obtained his M.Sc. from Tel Aviv University using Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to shed light on the geo-hydrological problem of sinkholes along the shores of the Dead Sea. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in marine geophysics. His thesis topic deals with the offshore continuation of the Carmel Fault and the tectonic regime of the north-eastern Mediterranean. |
