Talk:Conservapedia

From Knowino
Jump to: navigation, search

By the way, Conservapedia describes Knowino as "a heathen godless site" [1]; and further, its "Heathen" article [2] claims that "all heathens are condemned to eternal damnation"; and further, "Eternal damnation" redirects to "Hell" providing the following information: " What happens in Hell? Endless endless torture really. Though reports have it that there are various levels of hell with different levels of torture are applied." And so I wonder, which level of torture is most appropriate for us? --Boris Tsirelson 13:51, 5 June 2011 (EDT)

Wow! ;-) It's hard to tell whether Conservapedia's article on Knowino is satire or "real" (Poe's Law). (The capstone of irony, of course, is that I am a Christian myself—and I've repeatedly challenged Andy Schlafly, Conservapedia's founder, to a public online debate to take him to task over the content of Conservapedia...) Anyway, I reckon our torture will be reading Conservapedia articles forever. Sounds appropriate, doesn't it?—Tom Larsen (talk) 19:56, 5 June 2011 (EDT)
(I think you stumbled across a site that is a parody of Conservapedia, Conservapedia.Wikii.com. We're safe, thank goodness.) ;-) —Tom Larsen (talk) 20:26, 5 June 2011 (EDT)
Yes, Wikkii CP is a parody. But, Knowino is on Illogicopedia!--Fred Anderson 22:28, 5 June 2011 (EDT)
Oops... I am naive and credulous. I am presenting my apologies to Conservapedia. --Boris Tsirelson 01:39, 6 June 2011 (EDT)
Maybe it is worth to mention such a parody site in our article, "not to be confused with..." --Boris Tsirelson 01:41, 6 June 2011 (EDT)
"our torture will be reading Conservapedia articles forever" – I recall a similar idea about spammers: it is rumored that their torture will be, to send all their spam messages again, but this time - one by one, no scripts. :-) --Boris Tsirelson 01:44, 6 June 2011 (EDT)
Speaking of that, spammers have repeatedly visited several wikis recently.--Fred Anderson 23:23, 6 June 2011 (EDT)
