The Sieratzki Family and Tel Aviv University
in recognition of the outstanding achievements of Israeli Neuroscience
have established a Series of Prizes - several of which are open to applicants worldwide.
Two prizes of US$ 5,000 are awarded to outstanding Israeli PostDocs/Junior Academics worldwide (under 40 years, exceptions in special circumstances): one prize will be awarded to a PostDoc up to 4 years post PhD and one will be awarded to a PostDoc / Junior Academic up to 8 years post PhD.
Successful applicants will already have made a significant impact in their field of Neuroscience. Preference is given to applicants who work in Israel or are in the process of returning to Israel but due consideration is given to scientists currently working abroad.
Nominations will be judged by a panel of international experts. Applicants are requested to use our Application Form and submit it electronically together with a Research Statement and a recent CV to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Two Prizes of US$500 are awarded to PhD students at TAU (up to 1 year post PhD) who are first authors of an outstanding publication in the field of Neuroscience published (or accepted for publication) in a peer-reviewed journal between 1st January and 31st December 2015. Publications in press will be eligible if accompanied by confirmation of acceptance from the Journal.
Five Prizes of US$200 are awarded at a Student Poster Session held in connection with the main Prize Ceremony. Students of all levels and all faculties and departments of TAU are invited to present their work in the field of Neuroscience, incl. unpublished work. The winners will be selected onsite and awarded at the main Prize Ceremony.
Nominations will be judged by a panel of international experts.
Applicants should indicate clearly for which Prize they apply and can submit only one application. Applicants are requested to use our Application Form and submit it electronically together with a Research Statement and a recent CV to email@example.com.
