The university club was established as a social and cultural meeting place for TAU staff and their guests, to enable academic discussions and exchange of ideas in a comfortable atmosphere.

The club offers cultural activities such as recitals, literary events, theater, film and current events lectures, encouraging the participation of club and university staff members as moderators and speakers.

The club operates a restaurant serving the university staff, members of the Board of Governors, and university friends, and is available for private functions. Club membership entitles automatic membership in the international organization of university clubs in the USA and in Europe.
