This PA chest radiograph demonstrates an area of consolidation in the right lower lobe, but without a tell-tale air-fluid level. The rounded nature of this area is also suspicious for a mass lesion such as a neoplasm. With antibiotic therapy, a bronchopneumonia should resolve. If the lesion persists, it may be a neoplasm.
