| This abdominal CT scan with contrast reveals a pancreatic pseudocyst, with a low attenuation liquefied center, in the tail of the pancreas, that appears to interdigitate with accentuated gastric rugal folds. A pseudocyst is a serious complication of pancreatitis. A pseudocyst is not a true cyst, because the wall of the cyst is just granulation tissue bordering adjacent structures. |
