| In the angiogram above there is a vascular malformation in the right medial frontal lobe. There is contrast in the arterial branches of the left internal carotid, while there is continued venous drainage from the vascular malformation on the right. This vascular malformation was supplied by a pericallosal branch of the anterior cerebral artery. This patient had a history of severe headaches for years. Some patients may have seizures. In the axial MRA image below, the vascular malformation can be seen to drain into the superior sagittal sinus. |
