| An irregular area of bone lucency is seen in the region of the femoral neck on the left as well as involvement of the left ischium by fibrous dysplasia of bone. A few polyostotic cases are associated with endocrinopathies such as McCune-Albright syndrome. Most cases of fibrous dysplasia are monostotic. |
