| This MRI scan in sagittal view demonstrates bony destruction of the T10 vertebral body in a patient with metastatic renal cell carcinoma. There is partial impingement upon the spinal cord. Many carcinomas, and renal cell carcinoma in particular, tend to have osteolytic metastases. |
