History of Present Illness:
Three years later, except for general fatigue, she had been feeling quite well. However, recently she has noticed an increasing number of large, dilated veins along her abdominal wall. She is particularly irritated by subcutaneous nodules, which are moderately painful at pressure points such as around the belt and bra. This is why she has returned to the clinic.
A CBC shows the following: WBC count 6510/microliter, Hgb 12.9 g/dL, Hct 38.8%, MCV 87 fL, and platelet count 95,000/microliter.
