Further History (Sarah):

Her mother is concerned about side effects of continued medication. Does therapy need to be continued? What alternative therapies are available?

Further History (Heather):

Heather comes to see you because she has had increasing difficulty breathing for the past month. She is bothered by watery eyes and nasal congestion. On physical examination you can find nothing abnormal.

Laboratory findings (Heather): A CBC shows Hgb 15.6 g/dL, Hct 47%, MCV 91 fL, platelet count 301,500/microliter, and WBC count 8430/microliter with WBC differential count 66 segs, 2 bands, 18 lymphs, 8 monos, and 6 eos.
