The small yellowish nodules on the broad ligament bilaterally are common incidental findings called Walthard nests. Microscopically, they are composed of transitional-like cells and may occasionally be cystic and reach 2 to 3 mm in size. The only reason to know about them is that at surgery you will see them and they are not to be confused with granulomas or metastatic tumors.
