I'm certainly doing my homework.
It really doesn't make sense to write a column of this sort and not devote some
time to a few games - at least in order to get into the right frame of mind (though
the boys seem to be helping me out quite well on that
account). In that spirit, I could take my old Macintosh SE off the shelf, attach
the mouse and the keyboard, and play a few rounds of Tetris, but that seems to
be beyond the call of duty. It's easier to locate an old friend, Clickomania!,
and play a few games. This is one of those games that can become highly addictive,
yet takes only about two minutes to play (and is also a fast download and simple
to install). That means that if I get a low score I'll have an excuse to keep
playing, but even then, it won't take up too much time.
