Not for me, it isn't.

It make be quick, but for me it's far from easy. Sure, I've got my Blog This! button always available on my Google Toolbar, making the creation of a blog entry just about as easy as bookmarking a web page, but then I have to confront the question of why blog something rather than simply bookmarking it.

I've had numerous collections of bookmarks online for years, last mentioning them in the Boidem less than a year ago. When I still remember to use these they serve me well enough. Using a blog would seem to be more time consuming than bookmarking, especially because I feel compelled to write something in the empty but waiting text box that appears. Clicking on a button is easy, but deciding what to write about a particular page is in an entirely different class of activity.
