And not really that different.


Most blog entries seem to be little more than a bookmark with a blurb. Throughout the history of the web bookmarks have always been more than just links. For those willing to notice, they've been representations of stations of our thought, signposts of our intellectual terrain. Those tiny links have had much of the essence of internet life packed into them, and they deserve a great deal of credit. It's far from clear that we need to go beyond bookmarking in order to express ourselves.
