It's sort of like a chain reaction.


I guess that in a discussion of personal web pages running a search on yourself can be considered rather legitimate, but to tell the truth, it was quite unintended. It's just that in "one click leads to another" hypertext fashion it was hard not to run such a search. If you're going to examine the blogger phenomenon, then you're going to have to get a broad picture of what's out there. And to do that you have to do some searching. And if you're already searching ... well, it's important to know what's cataloged and what isn't. So it sort of makes sense to look for the Boidem. And after all, a little bit of ego-surfing never hurt anyone.
