Off the road, it's not a technical problem.
My main problem is the most basic - not only getting my thoughts onto the page, but getting them digitized. Some things can be planned in advance: I have disks with me with templates for the various sorts of pages of these columns, for instance. But if I can't find a computer I'm not going to be able to convert my handwritten pages into anything I can upload. That doesn't mean I'm desperate. I knew in advance what I was getting into, and what I could expect, and if I didn't stand a good chance of finding the right tools, I wouldn't have chosen this topic for this month's column.
