Writing for myself?

By word count alone I suppose that I can make some sort of passable claim for the title of writer, but by my own definition I think that scribbler, or compulsive (digital) pencil pusher might be more accurate. I can string words together into sentences, but more often than not they become run-on sentences that can't seem to remember where they started or where they want to end up. So saying that I actually write more for myself than for anyone else is probably rather accurate. And though I've noted numerous times that I write in order to clarify my thinking, too much clarity may not be such a great thing, so I'm quite amenable to confusing things here and there (and everywhere).
