That's no way to read a book.

The quantity of spam continues to grow. Even with the best of filters, more and more of it seems to reach us. But Captain Blood is a 300 page book. I suppose that I've received about 15 spam messages that used passages (usually a few sentences, sometimes whole paragraphs) from the book to sneak past the filters and into my inbox. A generous estimate would suggest that I've received about two complete pages of the book. This suggests that (assuming rather illogically that if each spam message with a passage from Captain Blood contained a separate and distinct passage from the book) I'd have to receive about 2000 messages to receive the whole book. And of course I wouldn't be reading it in the proper order.

If I really want to read the book, it makes more sense to download a full text edition via Project Gutenberg.
