Though Mom was already in her 90s, up until that point she'd been in very good health, and we weren't familiar with many of the accoutrements of failing health. When Mark received reports of various medicines, or tools, or activities that were called for, he often had to ask the doctors what these were. He would then report back to us. At one point, when considering whether we thought a particular medicine was advisable Libbe was able to ask friends who had experience. At other times, Mark turned to the web to get a picture - either for himself, though probably primarily for us (he, after all, could get an explanation from the doctors) of various tools.
