Having just returned home from our remodeling exile, I can vouch for the fact
that a virtual shower isn't the same as a real one. During our remodeling we stayed
in two different apartments, and both of those had problems with hot water. Getting
into what was supposed to be a hot shower and discovering that the water wasn't
heating up was a very real experience - definitely both a physical, and a distressing
one. And any attempt on my part to tell myself that the cold water was all in
my head didn't change things one bit.
