From the 17th of November to the 3rd of December a two man submarine dove in the Dead Sea. It should be pointed out that this is the first time that such an expedition is being carried out. The sub was equipped with digital cameras and collected visual data on sediments and tectonics in an attempt to further our understanding on the Dead Sea.

The expedition was organized by "Mysteries of the Bible" and funded by Channel 4 (UK) and NBC (USA). Our thanks to Union Pictures for providing the footage and to the crew of the "Delta".
