A Quick quide
This site is associated with a printed review article (published in MISQ, June, 2001).
The Web article is not meant to replace the printed version - in particular, it is
not meant to be read serially fron begining to end but rather aimed to provide quick overviews of
the complete article and direct access to sections of the text, to firgures and to tables.
This online review is intended to remain current. The review of
past studies has been organized in several tables, which will be updated periodically
with new citations. I will rely
on contributions from the community and am committed to organizing and
publishing all your contributions.
This site allows you to
- contribute to the article by filling a form about new citations,
- adapt the view to your interests by tailoring the scope of the article,
- adjust the level of
detail you wish to see
(use the signs << >> ).
Navigation is made easier by using
- Figures to travel directly to places of interest - from labels in the firgure you can travel to
sections of the text and from the pictures you can travel to more detailed figures,
- Tables to form glossaries,
summarize sections and organize reviews - the glossary tables make it easy to lookup terms used in the model and the review tables, to which you can contribute, present the studies relevant to some part of the model,
- TOC (table of contents) to
both travel and see where you are.
The main screen is organized as three frames with hyper-links that let you
travel from Figures to Text, from one text to its 'NEXT' and 'PREVIOUS' and by clicking
entries of the TOC. You also have a menu to Contribute, Adapt view, Find a text, view
Comments,
Exit and return to the Home page. You are also encouraged to directly adapt the size of the frames by pulling the
borders between frames to fit your needs.
Feedback
A record of the functions you use is sotred on cookies on your computer. Once you finish the session, you will be
prompted for feedback, at which time you can decide whether you would like to
provide this information or discard it. We need this information for research on how to improve this and similar sites.
