"Fiske resonances in Josephson tunnelling junctions"

Gal Amit
Dept. of Condensed Matter Physics, Tel Aviv University

Josephson properties of asymmetric 45o [001]-tilt grain boundaries in thin YBa2Cu3O{7-δ} superconducting films are considered. The grain boundary is treated as a Josephson junction with a critical current density alternating along its surface. The current-voltage characteristic of this junction is examined using two different methods and huge Fiske resonances are found.
