Dibner Israel Fellowship

Created at the generous initiative of Mr. David Dibner, ז"ל, a special annual fellowship program for Israeli scholars was established at the Dibner Institute at MIT, Cambridge, MA, parallel to, and in conjunction with the general Dibner Resident Fellowship Program, as long as the latter was active (until 2006)

The Dibner Israel Fellowship Committee in Israel, composed of representatives of Tel Aviv University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Haifa University, proposed and pre-selected the Israeli candidates for the Dibner-Israel fellowships. Final selection was made by the Dibner Institute.
