Announcement of Laureates 2011

The Raymond and Beverly Sackler Prize in the Physical Sciences, awarded at Tel Aviv University, has been established through the generosity of Dr. Raymond and Mrs. Beverly Sackler. The research field for 2011 is Molecular dynamics of chemical reactions.

For his seminal contribution to the field of ultrafast spectroscopy and the applications to quantum coherent energy transfer and exciton dynamics in biophysics and materials science through the development of multi-dimensional electronic spectroscopy.

For his seminal contribution to the field of ultrafast spectroscopy and the applications to vibrational dynamics in biophysics and materials science through the development of coherent multi-dimensional infrared spectroscopy.



The Raymond and Beverly Sackler Prize will be shared equally among the two recipients and will be awarded to them in person on May 16, 2011, during the Tel Aviv Symposium in Chemical Physics honoring the distinguished laureates and the Annual Session of the Tel Aviv University’s Board of Governors.

Tel Aviv University is honored to administer the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Prize in the Physical Sciences, which is intended to encourage dedication to science, originality and excellence by awarding outstanding young scientists.
