In the colonoscopic view above in small intestine above can be seen multiple small polyps. These proved to be hamartomatous polyps on biopsy, consistent with Peutz-Jehgers syndrome, a rare autosomal dominant condition that can be associated with polyps anywhere in the GI tract. Persons with this syndrome have an increased risk for developing malignant neoplasms in various organs, but not directly within the polyps. On upper endoscopy, duodenal polyps are seen below.
