This radiograph of the spine demonstrates spondylolisthesis with slippage of the L5 vertebral body anterior to the S1 body. This can lead to spinal cord injury. In the radiograph below, internal screws have been placed to stabilize these vertebral bodies and prevent additional slippage at the site of spondylolisthesis.
