| In this course, we will examine the issues of women in Japan, Korea, China, Indunesia, etc. We will examine the history of women’s movement of feminism in Asia, and the differences from Westren feminism, referring to conflicts with tradition, colonialism, and wars (WWII, Vietnam War, Korien War) Also we will examine current topics such as the issues of ‘conforting women’, prostitution, issues for sexual harassment, job equality, etc. We want highly motivated students for studying the issue of gender politics, who will eventually conduct research on a specific topic. |
