The course will be a philosophy of logic course, beginning with Quine's "Two Dogmas","Truth by Convention", and "On What There Is", then reading Putnam’s early "It Ain't Necessarily So", and "The Analytic and the Synthetic" and ending with his recent (mostly unpublished) work on these subjects. | |
