Memorials are serious, but ... it's hard not to laugh.


Since it's obvious that English isn't the native language of the people who built the Eternally Remembered site, it's not really nice to make fun of the mistakes that abound on their pages. But these pages are an extreme example of torturing English until it's hard to make heads or tails of the final result.

And if they're already torturing the English language, why not put in a typo that tortures electronic posting as well. In their explanation of how to submit material to be prepared as a memorial page the designers of the site write:

E-maul! Now there's an idea who's time has come and, I hope, gone. Then again, reports on "virtual rape" are quite famous in web related literature, so why not cybermutilation?
