By design the Boidem is a textual environment, with limited use of graphics. Graphic or technological pyrotechnics were, pretty much from the outset, envisioned as contradictory to the basic conception of the site. Still, a number of what might be referred to as "techniques" deserve examination in evaluating how the Boidem defined the space it occupies.
